Brett was a member of York Regional Police for 15 years.  After leaving, he became Director of Business Development for Integrys Public Safety & Security, Currently he is the Senior Director of Business Development for GardaWorld (Ontario), along with being a Consultant with QueTel.  He held the same position with Cardinal Peak Technologies, and has attended Ontario Police College (Valedictorian), University of Toronto, York University, Humber College and Georgian College.
