Critical Response Group is comprised of former United States Special Operations Command operators who used our solutions on hundreds of real world missions; domestic public safety experts who adapted our solutions for use by first responders; and a technical staff responsible for designing and managing our collaborative mapping projects.
Critical Response Group Executive Leadership
Michael left the Army as a Captain after 9 years of service and multiple combat deployments, with assignments including the 82nd Airborne, 75th Ranger Regiment, and Princeton University’s ROTC program. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Ethan retired from Special Operations with eight combat deployments and hundreds of direct action raids across Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger, receiving the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Silver Star for Gallantry in Action. He also served at the Pentagon’s National Military Command Center and is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Alex left active duty in 2017 as a decorated Special Operations Officer in the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). He served as the ground force commander for dozens of high-risk direct action raids in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and is the recipient of multiple awards for valor in combat, including the Bronze Star.
After serving 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, culminating with time as a Marine Special Operations Team Commander and Operations Officer with 1st Marine Raider Battalion, Austin earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and broadened his business exposure in tech startups and management consulting before joining the team at CRG. He brings a diverse skill set and valuable leadership abilities to further strengthen and advance our operations team.
